The Hoa An campus (CRD), situated in rural Phung Hiep district, Hau Giang province, is a dynamic hub for research and education, catering to both domestic and international students and researchers. Established with the mission of enhancing educational levels in the Mekong Delta, particularly for the rural workforce, this 112-hectare campus, built on reclaimed acid sulfate soil, is a testament to sustainable development.
The campus is strategically divided into specialized sections dedicated to aquaculture hatchery, rice cultivation experiments, animal husbandry, and biodiversity conservation. This unique infrastructure fosters focused research in critical areas for the region's development.
A hallmark of the CRD is its integrated approach to education, research, and technology transfer. This approach promotes active collaboration between students, researchers, and the local community, creating a vibrant learning ecosystem where knowledge generation and practical application go hand in hand. By fostering these connections, the Hoa An campus is not only advancing academic pursuits but also contributing to the socio-economic growth of the Mekong Delta region.
Since its establishment in 2011, CRD has actively engaged in collaborative programs with international universities and educational organizations. We have welcomed foreign experts and volunteers to work, teach, and mentor our faculty and students. Additionally, we have facilitated student and faculty exchange programs with universities worldwide, fostering a global perspective and enriching the academic environment at CRD.
